Minuteman’s Gold-Level Bundled Service Program includes:

  • Pre-installation Site Survey
    • Detailed review of site install location: Clears the way for an easy install by confirming the location of the final site install. Does it meet product’s environmental requirements? Are there any restrictions within the building? Is it a 1st floor or upper-floor install? Does the building have an elevator? Are there any weight restrictions? What are the sizes of the doors and hallways to the final install site? All these factors are identified to prevent any last-minute headaches or problems.
    • Requirements assessment for delivery logistics: Are there personnel available on site to assist with the install? Does the freight company need to arrange for inside delivery? Is there a dock available or is a truck with a lift-gate required? Does the install site have the equipment to easily relocate the unit(s) within the building?
    • Clearly defined delivery date: Confirm that the products will arrive when the install site is ready. If the site is still under construction or the facility is closed the day of delivery, it could add to additional freight charges, for the shipper to re-deliver the product(s).
    • Concierge shipping logistics services: Is there a preferred manner of shipping? Does the customer require any specific carriers to be used? Are there any security restrictions involved? All these factors can be sorted out and confirmed prior to the installation.
    • Electrical Infrastructure checklist: Confirm with the authorized personnel all the available voltages and connections. Also make sure there is enough capacity available to support the install site. Verify if any specific connections are needed and if they are placed in the correct, or convenient, locations for the product install. Any conflicts in wiring or utility can delay the install for days while an authorized contractor is located to make the corrections.
    • Crucial equipment compatibility check: Catalogue the devices to be connected to the UPS to ensure their compatibility. Differences in voltages, current draw or even input connections, can lead to long delays and expensive changes.
    • Convenient scheduling arrangements: We will coordinate with shipping carrier and all the involved on-site parties to be available on the day of delivery and install, minimizing labor and installation costs.
  • Remote (Virtual) Startup
    • Thorough infrastructure checklist: Review the installation of the UPS and ancillary products to ensure there are no conflicts or dangerous conditions.
    • Crucial connections confirmation: Review and verify the UPS input and output utility connections.
    • Required voltage and capacity check: Check the utility voltages and maximum capacities available to the site.
    • UPS setup and equipment connection: Review and confirm all the input and output connections to the UPS are correct. This includes the UPS connection to utility power and also the connections to any accessory products such as transformers, battery packs and PDUs at the installation site. All connected devices will be looked at to make sure they are properly plugged into the UPS and the cumulative loads are within the operational parameters of the UPS installation.
    • Battery Pack configurations (if applicable): All connected devices will be looked at to make sure they are properly plugged into the UPS.
    • UPS startup and system optimization: Not all UPS can be properly started with a simple press of the ON button. With the Startup service, Para will ensure the UPS is properly powered on and started.
    • Verified UPS operation and connection: Once up and running, we will review the status of the UPS to ensure it is operating at full optimization and efficiency. We will also inspect all the connected devices to ensure they are operating properly as well.
    • Upgraded Warranty Extension (2 Years vs 1 Year): Knowing all parameters of the UPS install and startup have been properly completed, Para adds to customer peace of mind by extending the standard product warranty for an additional two years.

  • Advanced Warranty Replacement Service: To reduce potential downtime and business interruptions, with the Advanced Warranty Replacement Service Minuteman will send out a replacement unit before you send back your current unit. Time is money, and Minuteman saves you both!
