Whether you’re just beginning to invest in your power protection, or you’re looking for a second set of eyes on your set-up, Minuteman’s optional add-on services make it easy to feel confident about the structure and safety of your power protection system.
Minuteman’s Remote (Virtual) Startup Service Program includes:
- Thorough infrastructure checklist:Â Review the installation of the UPS and ancillary products to ensure there are no conflicts or dangerous conditions.
- Crucial connections confirmation: Review and verify the UPS input and output utility connections.
- Required voltage and capacity check:Â Check the utility voltages and maximum capacities available to the site.
- UPS setup and equipment connection:Â Review and confirm all the input and output connections to the UPS are correct. This includes the UPS connection to utility power and also the connections to any accessory products such as transformers, battery packs and PDUs at the installation site. All connected devices will be looked at to make sure they are properly plugged into the UPS and the cumulative loads are within the operational parameters of the UPS installation.
- Battery Pack configurations (if applicable):Â All connected devices will be looked at to make sure they are properly plugged into the UPS.
- UPS startup and system optimization:Â Not all UPS can be properly started with a simple press of the ON button. With the Startup service, Para will ensure the UPS is properly powered on and started.
- Verified UPS operation and connection:Â Once up and running, we will review the status of the UPS to ensure it is operating at full optimization and efficiency. We will also inspect all the connected devices to ensure they are operating properly as well.
- 1-year Warranty Extension:Â Knowing all parameters of the UPS install and startup have been properly completed, Para adds to customer peace of mind by extending the standard product warranty for an additional year.
